Blood Pressure Too Low Is 98/44 An Okay Blood Pressure, Or Is That Too Low?

Is 98/44 an okay blood pressure, or is that too low? - blood pressure too low

I put my head spins at the top, and I'm usually very thirsty. I am also a runner, but it was running hard for me to climb, because I feel dizzy. I could not give blood the other day because I lowered blood pressure, but the nurse told me it was wrong.

  1. I also have blood pressure like you, but not the dizziness .... My doctor told me that if I did not faint or dizzy, there was nothing to fear.
Since you have vertigo, I would like to ask your doctor. He or she may increase your sodium will allow.

  2. MD Walt I think it is fixed. From my experience with heart problems and low blood pressure, I suggest you try to drink a cup or less water, wait 10 or 15 minutes and take your blood pressure again.

I had to spend more time in my BP like a step backwards. It is a trick I learned in cardiac rehabilitation. Let me, if my BP was low.

  4. This is a normal value.

A good way to assess your blood pressure is also the assessment of the pulse. If the blood pressure seems weak to you (but not their own), the pulse ----- just less than 100 beats per minute. (be careful, in peace, if not also wrong to increase the heart rate)

So the difference between the systolic blood pressure (98) and diastolic blood pressure (44) is the pressure difference. Have a great ---- and it tells me that your heart is working great!

We must explain the dizziness in another way:

Make sure you do not get hypoglycemia during exercise while providing plenty of liquid. In addition, the sound is kind of silly, perhaps a bit isolated, but make sure you do not get pregnant because this change ---- at the physiology of the body.

  7. The general rule for low blood pressure, is that if you (have symptoms such as you describe, running head), then it is too low. If you are an athlete, your blood pressure may be lower than "normal."

Dizziness when standing up is called orthostatic hypotension. If someone changes the posture, lower blood pressure a little, then quickly settled. Remember, most people do not, but if you suffer from vertigo can be due to the fact that their "normal" blood pressure is very low.

For young, active people, is the most likely cause of hypotension, dehydration. Make sure you drink enough, but if it remains a problem for you, then you should consult a doctor.
